Senior Risk Manager

Skills and experience that will help you to succeed
2+ years of professional experience in Fintech industry related to lending, credit risk
management, portfolio management and/ or data science areas.
Prudent knowledge about balance sheet, PNL and cash flows, including impact of PD, LGD, ECL and loan loss provisions.
Knowledge and previous experience in working with IFRS9.
Good command of SQL. Previous experience with DWH and BI tools is a plus.
Fluency in English.
Higher education in finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics.
Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and risk reporting.
Ability to present complex risk information clearly and effectively to senior management and board members.
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
Hands-on mindset, positive can-do attitude, and sense of responsibility.

Wandoo is looking for Senior Risk Manager for its Romania business.

Role that we will trust you
Maintain and ︁︀​︂︃︃​︇︂​︁︃︁continuously improve Avinto risk management framework.
Develop, update and maintain risk management policies and procedures. Ensure these are aligned with regulatory requirements.
Oversee Avinto overall risk profile, as well as follow-up on KRIs & KPIs.
Take ownership of Avinto customer identification and loan approval processes.
Foster a strong risk culture across the organization by conducting risk training sessions, embedding risk awareness into business practices and ensuring accountability at all levels of management.
Manage Avinto loan portfolio (size, quality and profitability) by optimizing approval rates,
average loan size and issued loan amounts, PD and LGD, customer retention, surplus, and unit economics.
Oversee development of scorecards and follow-up on performance of statistical models.
Lead efforts to identify, assess and mitigate operational risk, including process failures, system breakdowns, fraud or external disruptions. Facilitate business continuity and crisis management planning.
Produce timely, accurate and insightful reports on risk exposure for senior management, risk committees and regulatory bodies.
Provide leadership and guidance to junior members of the risk management team. Collaborate with other departments (such as finance, compliance, operations) to ensure integrated risk management across the organization.
Play an important role in Avinto budgeting processes with the focus on input related to loan portfolio.
