Master Data Integration Projects Specialist

What we’re looking for:

•Preferably a Technical degree, but open to any background
•3+ years in a fast paced, customer focused environment
•Preferably a background in Biopharma or Laboratory environment
•Proficient in written and spoken English as absolut must

Skills and competences:

•Advanced user-knowledge of SAP
•Functional SAP knowledge in SAP modules MM and SD/SCM preferred
•Affinity with large data sets & analytics
•Experienced level in MS Excel and knowledge of MS Access, basic VBA skills are a plus
•Initiative & ownership to run projects, improvements and transitions on global processes

Soft skills:.

•Logical thinking and ability to analyze, standardize & improve fragmented processes
•Eagerness to learn and improve knowledge
•Motivated to deliver value & strong results in every interaction
•Being able to work in a fast-paced & changing environment & comfortable taking quick decisions in ad-hoc interactions with consultants & stakeholders
•Be a team player within the whole organization, specifically within the Master Data team & their stakeholders

Our team:
Our Data Management team consists of 17 people working from 2 different continents.
The team is responsible for ︁︀​︂︃︃​︈︁​︁︉︂supporting a variety of business units and consult internal & external stakeholders during complex projects. The team drives innovation & integration of new entities and sites through expertise & strong analysis.
What you will do:

•Support & organize projects & process changes globally
•Work with global teams across different time zones & analyze data, structure/cluster & find and resolve root cause of issues
•Proactively identify risks and countermeasures
•Define requirements & testcases and execute testing in SAP
•Align with business partners (internal & external stakeholders)
•Manage collaboration with functional areas and technical implementation team
•Participation in SAP implementation and improvement projects
•Willingness to travel when needed

Avantor is looking for a dedicated Master Data Integration Projects Specialist.
This role is a full-time position based in our Bucharest office in Timpuri Noi OR remote from any other area in Romania. You will have the great opportunity to partner with internal & external stakeholders and customers located across different continents.
