Financial Controller

• 5+ years overall combined accounting and finance experience
• A degree focused on Accounting, Finance or similar;
• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller;
• Knowledge of BI( Business Intelligence) tools would be added advantage.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures;
• Experience with creating financial statements;
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process;
• Strong analytical, problem solving & organization skills.

• Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and rolling forecasts.

• Provides complex financial analysis for businesses, typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to help in determining the best methods for achieving larger objectives.
• Extract financial/non-financial data and convert them into the meaningful reports, helpful in taking business decisions
• Good exposure of budgeting process and comments on variance analysis with the actuals
• IFRS reporting
• Prepare some on demand /ad-hoc reports requested by the CFO.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design.
• Create PowerPoint presentations with needful tables and graphs as management summary.
