Group Financial Controller

Candidate Requirements:


• University degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics;
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in a Finance department: accounting, financial analysis, financial and/or business control; experience on a similar position represents an advantage;
• In depth knowledge of financial analysis;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
• Diligent with strong attention to details;
• Good communicator, adaptable and flexible individual;
• Fluency in English language (written and spoken);
• Excellent Excel skills;
• CAFR member represents an advantage;

Job summary:


Performs financial consolidation and reporting activities, in compliance with company’s financial policies and procedures.
Perform internal ︁︀​︂︃︃​︉︆​︆︄controls for all processes and procedures. Present findings and improvements proposals.
Prepares various financial simulations and analysis to support the decision making process.


Duties & Responsibilities:


• Prepares and presents consolidated financial statements and reports, according to internal policies and procedures;
• Perform internal audit plan as per legal requirements;
• Plan and perform internal controls for all processes and procedures in all company locations;
• Present findings and risks during internal controls and tests and propose improvements to the processes and procedures;
• Analyzes financial information/reports and prepares forecasts and projections for management;
• Participates and provides support during the budgeting process;
• Follows up on the budget, identifies potential deviations and prepares explanatory notes for management;
• Provides support during external audit activities;
• Participates in process, control and financial reporting improvement projects;
• Assists in the implementation and communication of new practices and policies;
• Prepares and presents various financial reports and analysis for management, whenever necessary;
