Warehouse Chief Accountant

• Manage and process warehouse accounting and financial office flows, including the codification of Purchase Requests (PRs), Store ︁︀​︂︃︃​︇︁​︆︄Entries, and Store Issues Reports.
• Prepare and code Purchase Requests and Delivery Orders to ensure proper budget allocation and monitoring.
• Support the Procurement Team by identifying potential suppliers for inventory items.
• Prepare material goods receipts and accurately assign codes for correct allocation of the goods’ value in the warehouse accounting balance.
• Control and monitor the issuance of materials to various sites for accurate cost allocation.
• Reconcile physical inventory with accounting records to ensure alignment of the warehouse accounting statement.
• Manage accounts payable, daily transaction posting, and bookkeeping using SAP.
• Prepare detailed warehouse management and financial accounting reports related to monthly closures.
• Ensure compliance with project policies, health & safety regulations, and internal audit requirements.

• Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within the construction industry, with preferred experience in large-scale projects and contractor construction (infrastructure).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and at least 5 years of experience with SAP.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
