Descrierea jobului

Daily activities:
The CFO reports directly to the President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and directly to the CFO at group level ︁︀​︂︃︃​︈︃​︀on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to accounting, tax, financial reporting, treasury and subsidies.
  • Ensure adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is approved and available such that all purchases may pass independent, governmental and internal audits
  • Work with the CEO on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships on city, state, and national levels, as well as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts.
  • Support the CEO in the identification of an operating budget.
  • Work with the CEO to ensure success through cost analysis support, and compliance with all contractual and requirements.
  • Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to Romanian state agencies, development and monitoring of organizational and contract/grant budgets.
  • Organizes and leads the meetings for the harmonization of the short and medium term objectives.
  • Establishes according to the organizational structure the tasks and responsibilities of the subordinate personnel, based on the job descriptions.
  • Responsible for the optimal use of the material, financial, patrimonial and human resources allocated for the achievement of the established financial objectives.
  • Responsible for identifying the training needs of subordinate staff and ensures their continuous training.
Professional Development
  • Identifies his/her own training needs based on the job requirements and the personal goals, making an objective self-evaluation;
  • It cares for his/her training, documentation in the business and on legislation through self-study and participation in courses and trainings organized by the firm or external providers of training services to optimize individual performance and training or job-specific skills development;
  • To inform on specific legislation, regulations and procedures of the company.
Management
  • Facilitates and coordinates the periodic meetings with his/her employees.
  • Directs and supports his/her team in setting priorities and achieving objectives;
  • Monitors and assesses the work of his/her subordinates in order to ensure compliance to deadlines and meeting quality requirements, and makes proposals to his direct supervisor on promotions, enforcements, training, etc.;
  • Contributes to the employee motivation.
