Software Engineering Manager

For This Role, You Will Need:
* At least 3 years of management experience in Agile development environments, with a strong focus on building and deploying data-centric solutions.
* Extensive experience in application development using .NET C#, including hands-on work with data-intensive applications.
* Proficiency in object-oriented programming, with a proven understanding of SOLID principles and domain-driven design.
* At least 5 years of software development experience, ideally with enterprise systems that require significant data processing capabilities.
* Experience with advanced Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery systems, ensuring continuous integration and smooth delivery of data-driven applications.
* A Bachelor Science degree or equivalent experience, Master of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
* Experience working with relational databases like SQL or Vertica, especially for managing large datasets.
* Knowledge of the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) for data indexing, visualization, and analysis.
* Experience with front-end development using Angular to create intuitive user interfaces for data-driven applications.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Leading a team of developers and test engineers to deliver end-to-end features and applications as part of Emerson’s new big data solution.
* Managing the development of complex user interfaces, data processing workflows, and implementing advanced statistical algorithms to enhance data analytics capabilities.
* Collaborating closely with product managers and collaborators to deliver scalable, high-quality software tailored for Big Data challenges.
* Maintaining a strong focus on data processing efficiency, scalability, and performance throughout the development lifecycle.
* Driving Agile development processes and implementing best methodologies to boost productivity and team collaboration.
* Providing mentorship and technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
