Operations will be managed under 75.000m2 warehouse space and for a yearly volume of 600.000 m3. This sizeable and challenging operation demands strong independent and driven way of working, support and strategic skills, with hands on experience managing similar operations, including effective management of both white- and blue-collar personnel, employees-centric mindset, strong grasp over administrative, recruitment and analytics hr areas and a track record of success in reaching set goals.

Human resources specialist serves as a liaison between management and employees to develop, enact, and monitor human resources initiatives and programs, balancing direct oversight of HR efforts and employee relations with long-term strategic direction and implementation of employee hiring and retention plans to enhance business performance and profitability.

Key responsibilities:
All lines of HR activities will be covered, at all levels: planning, recruitment and selection, induction and orientation, personnel management, compensation and benefits, employee relations and support, performance management, training, and development.
The HR Specialist provides the day-to-day performance management guidance to the business’s management personnel through coaching, career development, counselling, and disciplinary actions. In this capacity, the HR Specialist manages and resolves complex employee-relations issues.
Creates a people plan for the business and its various departments considering the wider HR agenda and any specific people issues that may be existent within the business and provides thought-leadership on issues that may avail improved operation and performance of the business.
Support is provided to entire line of managers by coaching them into thinking innovatively about their work processes and team structures with a view of improving the business’s overall efficiencies.
Manages relationship with any service providers for the optimal execution of the project, such as: leasing of personnel, database, automation etc.
Provides support in drafting and implementation of procedures, policies and any documentation related to overall activity or specific situations.
In this capacity, it is the HR Specialist’s role to initiate and sustain the Site Manager with the development of strategies for people management, succession planning, and talent management at all levels, as well as of a power plan for the business to guarantee that resources are managed strategically. This is inclusive of developing a strategic approach to recruitment of key personnel.
In his analytical role, the HR Specialist analyses trends and metrics to develop and enhance solutions, processes, and programs that address current problems and to avoid future ones. The HR Specialist assists in the measuring, validating, and testing of the effectiveness of metrics that are applied by the business to assess and drive productivity optimization.
All related documentation and data management and reporting will be handled deftly and efficiently, so that both internal and external applicable regulations are met.
The HR Specialist is constantly aware of market trends, benchmarking, motivation, performance, retention good practices and implements any changes and/or optimisations suitable to team characteristics.
The HR Specialist is also tasked with maintaining healthy relationships across the business. In this capacity, HR Specialist conducts regular meetings with the various business departments, builds, and develops trusted relationships with all employees.
