Senior Manufacturing Engineer

What we’re looking for:

• Experience min 2 years on a similar position (assembly and/or test process engineer):
• Good English language level;
• Microsoft office package usage (Power Point, Excel, Word);
• Technical knowledge on assembly processes: press fit (Kistler, Janome, Fabricom systems) and screwing (George Renault / Dessouter systems);
• Technical knowledge on manufacturing tools: standard process documentation (PFD, PFMEA, PCP, Standard cell, EOP), Problem solving (5 WHY, ISHIKAWA, Fault tree etc), Capacity tools (Material Selection Diagram), Troubleshooting expertise (reaction for: machine / process downtime, reaction on FTQ / SCRAP).

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes (e.g., robotization, redesigning operations);
• Analyze layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods and ︁︀​︂︃︃​︇︂​︁︃︁work force utilization to improve manufacturing efficiency;
• Optimize operating flow and material flow;
• Develop continuous improvement action plans;
• Actively support any downtime or quality issues through troubleshooting and problem solving;
• Manage issues, such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard materials or difficult coordination requirements;
• Inspect, install, and debug equipment;
• Determine parts and tools needed to achieve improvement goals;
• Maintain process production / documentation and update required documentation or databases;
• Continuous improvement of processes, to meet the customer requirements in terms of Quality, Volume and Cost.
