Senior Manager Finance

• Completed Bachelor's /or Master's Economics Degree
• >5 years experience in a similar position
• SAP R3 and/or SAP 4 HANA - FICO functional module
• English – Proficient user
• German language skills would be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial, budgeting, reporting
• Excellent know-how and use of MS - Office package
• Coordination, planning, organizational and leadership skills

• Organizes, coordinates, monitors and checks the entire activity of the subordinate team; Personnel responsibility for the Accounting Team

• Establishes the tasks and responsibilities of subordinate employees, in accordance with the job description;
• Organizes, manages and controls the financial-accounting activities, ensuring that the accounting records are kept in accordance with the legal requirements (local GAAP + IFRS + Tax)
• Strong knowledge of local tax legislation, good know-how of Ro Fiscal Code and EU VAT regulations
• Analyses the financial management processes carried out within the company and draws up proposals for optimization;
• Coordinates financial activities;
• Supervises and oversees all accounting and economic activities;
• Prepare reports, analyses, auditing the current activity and proposing solutions to improve the company's productivity and efficiency;
• Provides studies and analyses on the profitability of the activities, the efficiency of the use of working capital, the evolution of cash accumulations, the structure of material expenses and other economic and financial indicators;
• Responsibility for the preparation of the monthly and year end closing and the calculation of the main economic and financial indicators: balance sheet, profit and loss statements, cash flow statement, notes to the annual accounts;
• Preparation of the month end and year end closing package for VARTA GROUP
• Extensive know-how of accounting, financial, complex reporting (IFRS)
• Managing activities related to several state aid projects
• Supporting internal audit activities.
• Being part of the regular Management of the entity
