As a Project Manager you will carry out two main activities in order to carry out the project properly and to achieve targets at the planned time:

What is the preferred background?
Electrical/ power engineering background from an accredited University in country is preferred. Civil/ structural/ mechanical background is acceptable
A Master Degree in Electrical engineering, or Business Management
Fluent in English

What will be yours day to day activities?

- designates and controls the whole Project in terms of planning, development and final delivery. The Project Manager is in charge of coordinating the design of civil and electrical plans with concerned departments and delivers the whole project in line with HSE requirements
- follows the site activities, determines any delay in delivery of broken-down work items and makes provisions for reorganizing the works so as to deliver the whole project on-time
- confirms the efficiency of expenses and claims responsibility for following up the project budget, taking the record of budget expenses and making regular reporting. The Project Manager coordinates the progress payments of the contractors with the Site Manager and approves the progress payments.
- supervises the site activities over the Site Manager and confirms the proper delivery of contract liabilities of each contractor in coordination with related department
- follows up the inspection calendar for the site activities in consultancy with Site Manager and may assign technical personnel with the required inspections executively.
- coordinates the project financing and accounting issues with concerned departments in order to ensure the progress of the deliverables.
- acts as an interface between CHINT – Client – Contractors, project overall responsibility, budget, quality and on time delivery
- preparation of subcontractor agreement in line with primary contract with customer
- responsible for assigned project team
- reporting Project team performance during projects
- single contact person between CHINT and customer’s project manager
- single contact person between CHINT and its subcontractors
- preparing weekly progress report includes construction progress, cashflow status, procurement status, in & out-invoicing status and issues to be discussed
- fulfilling the other duties assigned by the Supervisor within the scope of his responsibilities and work objectives.
