Mechanical Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) as a minimum, preferably in Power Engineering.
• Preferably, you have been involved in design.
• Experience in using specialized software as Plant 3D/Aveva/PDMS or equivalent, as well as MSOffice package etc.
• Rigorous and solution minded.
• Good reporting skills, communcation skills, team player, client oriented and flexible
• Good English & driver licence (B)

• Act within project teams for design of power generation projects, in particular for the mechanical part: ︁︀​︂︃︃​︇︂​︁︃︁turbines, boilers, generators, piping.
• Involved in general layouts and you calculate the overall performance of the power plant.
• Participate in the engineering projects, elaborate design documentation, produce schemes and diagrams within the projects developed by the teams.
• Enhance an integrated design process by ensuring the interfaces over the different disciplines involved.
• Report progress to the project manager / head of department for all activities on a weekly basis or based on the required periodicity, by case.
• Respond to the wishes and needs of the Client or of other stakeholders.
• Keep up with the standards, guidelines and new techniques and developments in your discipline and report these to your team members or colleagues.
• Work together with colleagues, external partners (such as architects, site surveyors, other design and engineering consultancies, contractors during the construction phase, etc.) and clients in a positive way.
• Have an international mindset and collaborate with our offices abroad for certain engineering tasks and take the necessary actions to guarantee the required quality of the projects.
• Promote and establish BIM collaboration procedures according to our company vision where applicable.
• Comply with and enforce compliance with the Health/Safety guidelines set out in the Project Safety Plan;
• Rceive and share the expertise with the projects teams.
