Ideal Candidate
The Strategic Buyer is responsible for defining and executing supplier strategies for Eckerle company and different materials acquisitions. He/She is ︋︉︁️︌︁︌︋︂︆︄︃︁︁︎︌︈︂︇︍︈︆︅️︊︄︈︌︊︎︂︎responsible to ensure that all suppliers agreeing to all commercial requirements set by Eckerle. He/She is first level of escalation for all supplier related issues and concerns. He/She should need to negotiate yearly prices, contracts and commercials with allocated suppliers.
Ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing or operations or related discipline;
- Minimum 3-5 years in Purchasing with experience in complex supplier negotiations including preparing and administering Long Term Agreements
- Fluent in English and German: Proficiency in English and German is essential.
- Expert Negotiator: Strong skills in buying, negotiation, and contract administration.

Job Description
- Purchasing of Services and Products part needed by Eckerle;
- Managing end to end projects, considering price, quality, payment terms and delivery, ensure compliance and continuity of products and services within category in line with process and systems on Indirect Procurement;
- End to End project management as per required Procurement Policy, suppliers contract management and Category strategy development and implementation;
- Company strategy deployment on the category management, negotiation of complex projects requirements;
- Meet internal steak stakeholder’s objectives while achieving maximum overall cost effectiveness;
- Interface with internal stakeholders to determine requirement, implement and execute sourcing strategies;
- Negotiate with vendors and review supplier performance goals and objectives;
- Monitor market trends, competition strategies to evaluate areas of opportunities to reduce costs;
- Assess and evaluate suppliers and undertake performance reviews to ensure contract compliance;
- Supplier scorecard - Manage supplier performance activity, propose improvementsAchieve savings and other key metrics, as outlined within Procurement Goals.
