Job Description

Help develop, drive, maintain and execute the strategy for assigned categories in collaboration with local and global sourcing teams.
Liaison between the Category Manager and the local organization
Responsible for day-to-day commercial relationships to ensure proper internal and external approach to SCM activities.
Support regional/divisional cost optimization initiatives while ensuring product availability and business continuity.
Contribute to the purchasing business plan
Stay abreast of industry trends and procurement best practices
Support global projects to improve the division's purchasing processes
Continuously analyse the market. Identify supply market trends and new potential partners and assess opportunities and risks.
Support the qualification and development of new suppliers
Manage commercial and contractual negotiations and use innovative methods to ensure security of supply at the best conditions
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply performance and quality in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and plants.
Actively support the standardization and improvement of tools and reports at Group level
Work with the legal department to conclude contractual agreements, e.g. master agreements, framework agreements, national agreements.
