Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree - mechanical engineering is a plus;
8-10 years of Global Sourcing and Supply Chain experience;
Proven track record in Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Quality;
Experience in steel forgings / castings / machining or automotive is a plus;
Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings;
SAP knowledge is an advantage;
Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment;
Strong communication Skills – advanced English;
Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills;
High degree of ethics and personal conduct;
Willingness to travel across Europe - 20%-30% of the time.

Job Description
Market research to identify potential sources and suppliers;
Drive supplier selection through robust qualification processes (As per Wipro approval procedure);
Supplier development – for new and existing projects;
Assess new and existing supplier capabilities to ensure that they can meet requirements for performance: quality, cost and delivery of components;
Review supplier processes and identify improvement opportunities;
Monitor the sourcing strategy and if any change is required to ensure better sourcing, change the strategy according to the market condition;
Supply chain development - improve quality, cost and flow of supplied materials throughout the supply chain;
Use of alternate technologies, processes to improve cost and quality;
Develop a competitive supply chain in terms of quality, cost and delivery;
Negotiate and manage contract terms with suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders and colleagues.
