- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development, it’s a bonus if there is prior experience with fitness platforms
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Critical thinker with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Passion for delivering high-quality products that meet the nuanced needs.
- Certifications in Product Ownership a plus.
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Product Owner to lead development of our fitness platform. The ideal candidate will be adept in overseeing the end-to-end software product lifecycle, ensuring that our solution not only meets but surpasses customer expectations. You will be involved in a broad range of tasks: the upstream management of a specific product, including product backlog creation and grooming, user stories and epics specification and acceptance testing criteria, and coordination with the downstream teams.
Essential Functions:
- Craft and clearly communicate Product Backlog Items, ordering and refining them to ensure value maximization.
- Facilitate transparency, ensuring the Product Backlog is visible and understood by all stakeholders.
- Engage with the Product Manager, representing the market and business needs within the Product Backlog.
- Translate product requirements in user stories that align with our strategic vision.
- Manage the product backlog, refining and prioritizing features to ensure timely delivery of product enhancements.
- Lead agile rituals related to backlog grooming, prioritization, and demos, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages ownership and accountability.
- Responsible for ensuring that the Scrum team has the resources, support, and guidance needed to deliver high-quality work.
