IT Support Officer

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
• Background in a customer-service-based role where worked with users to ensure they can use their technology effectively
• 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles
• English language (B2-C1)
• Experience with remote support tools (TeamViewer, Any Desk, Remote Desktop)
• Familiarity with Active Directory, VPN/Antivirus, Print/Scan solutions
• Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions
• Basic knowledge of cloud services (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Azure)

What will you do:

• Knowledge of Tools and Systems: Familiarity with operating systems, software applications, and network setups is essential. In many cases, you'll also work with remote desktop tools, helpdesk ticketing systems, and internal knowledge bases.
• Troubleshooting: Identifying problems and determining the best solutions. This might involve diagnosing issues with computers, software, networks, or hardware.
• System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades for operating systems, software, and network devices to ensure systems run smoothly.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication is essential, as you'll be explaining technical concepts to non-technical users, guiding them through solutions over the phone, chat, or in person.
• Training and Guidance: Provide end-user training on software applications, security best practices, and new technologies.
• Escalation Procedures: Knowing when an issue is beyond your ability to solve and escalating it to higher-level support or other departments.
• Time Management: Balancing multiple support requests at once while maintaining quality service.
