The Ideal Candidate:
Maersk Logistics & Services Romania is currently looking for a customer-oriented service assistant to act as a liaison, provide product/services ︂︆︄︅︁︁︎︌︈︂︇︍information and resolve any emerging problems that our clients might face in relation to our provided services.
The target is to ensure highest service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction. The job is based in our office in Agigea Port.
Requirements
• Proven customer support experience, preferably in inland transportation and port operations (it is an advantage)
• Experience in an international environment
• Knowledge of Customs legislation and procedures (it is an advantage)
• Good transportation and containerization knowledge
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• University degree
• Proficiency in English
• Proficiency in Romanian
• Good command of PC applications (Word,Excel, PowerPoint is a plus)
• Ability to work under pressure, independently, with initiatives
• Customer & result oriented
• Excellent communication and negotiations skills
• Good analytical skills
• Clean driving license
• Flexibility to travel

• Effectively manage the incoming calls and emails
• Generate sales leads
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
• Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
• Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
• Meet personal/team sales targets and call handling quotas
• Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
• Take the extra mile to engage customers
• Assist in implementing and/or correcting the internal procedures, in accordance with the worldwide standards and SOPs of APMT network- Reinforce A.P.Moller-Maersk Group culture, value and reputation and ensure compliance with the A.P.Moller-Maersk Group policies
