Job Description

Role Overview:

The Business Development Executive will be instrumental in promoting POSCO’s products, forging strong client relationships, and driving business development efforts across Romania and seven neighboring countries. The ideal candidate will have outstanding B2B sales and presentation skills, relevant industry experience, and a strong command of business English.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote POSCO Products: Engage with industrial customers, manufacturers, and traders, offering consultative sales to help clients select the best-suited products for their needs.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Building: Identify and cultivate relationships with new clients through regular visits and contacts in the assigned area, expanding POSCO’s customer base.
  • Negotiation & Order Management: Negotiate terms with clients, oversee the entire order process from contract signing to delivery, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Customer Service & Support: Ensure professional handling of inquiries, orders, and complaints, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Order Follow-up: Actively follow up on offers, negotiate and secure orders, and monitor payment status and collection of receivables.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor credit limits and overdue accounts to minimize financial risks.
  • Visit Planning & Execution: Develop client visit plans that optimize cost and prioritize key customer interactions.
  • Strategy Development: Contribute to the evolution of the company’s business strategy, implementing targeted actions to drive new business opportunities.
  • Product Portfolio Development: Assess market demand and propose portfolio enhancements, anticipating both current and future market needs.
