• Knowledge of DTP processes;

About The Role
The Typesetting Analyst is part of the Translation team and works closely with the Translation Project Coordinators. The Typesetting Analyst ensures that non-editable documents are converted into editable formats by the dedicated software and amended where needed, in order to be processed successfully by our Translation software.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Evaluate received PDFs, scans, images, and handwritten documents and determine their suitability for typesetting;
• Edit documents before typesetting, to ensure a high-quality output;
• Use text recognition products to create editable files from PDFs, scans and images;
• Check the accuracy of the exported file to ensure exact correspondence to the source;
• Explore alternative strategies for documents where text cannot be recognized, including manually typing-out short documents.
