System Administrator

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as an System Administrator, or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and firewalls.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools and daily IT operations management.

• Hands-on experience with server installations and configurations.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills to support a diverse, international team.

• Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.

• Proactive attitude with a focus on delivering efficient and reliable IT services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating systems, particularly Linux for servers and Windows for desktop & laptops

• Experience with virtualization technologies

• Knowledge of scripting or automation tools is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Network and Office IT Management

• Manage and maintain the local area network (LAN) and office IT infrastructure at the Bucharest office.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.

• Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard the office network and IT systems.

Remote IT Support

• Provide timely support to employees located in multiple countries, addressing technical issues via remote assistance tools.

• Ensure smooth connectivity and secure access to company systems for remote staff.

IT Operations and Monitoring

• Perform daily operational checks, ensuring all systems and applications are running smoothly.

• Monitor alerts generated by the IT monitoring system and take corrective actions to resolve issues.

• Maintain accurate documentation of IT operations and troubleshooting processes.

Server Installation and Maintenance

• Set up and configure new servers to meet operational requirements.

• Perform regular maintenance and updates on existing servers to ensure optimal performance and security.
