Stock controller/Logistician

In this position, our future colleague will operate Stock controller will ensure the rightness of the warehouse stocks, set up the rolling inventory schedule and maintain the item and warehouse data in the ERP.

Job coordinates:
  • Location: Bucharest, Romania
  • Reports to: SCM team leader
Tasks and responsibilities include:
  • Formulating strategies to address ongoing stock issues
  • Remediate the stock errors and propose solutions to avoid any recurrence
  • Liaise with warehouse staff and other internal teams to test products’ quality (status upon delivery and storage conditions)
  • Report issues to develop continuous improvement
  • Perform inventory Cycle Counting
  • Investigate customers/suppliers claims and notify involved departments
  • Be able to find out in daily deliveries and shipments issues to reconcile inventory
  • Coordinate regular inventory audits
  • Set up item rolling inventory policies to control key items
  • Set up item parameters in NAV (routings, workcenters, item cards, stockkeeping units)
  • Fill and maintain the data base with UoM dimensions
  • Ensure the tidiness of the warehouse stock
  • Following and update BOMs accordingly with consumptions
  • Creating item codes, routings, check-ups and BOMs, update status;
  • Provide support to team members and to Financial Dept to ensure and align system adjustments
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor Degree
  • 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing environment/warehouse area;
  • University education - preferably engineering profile;
  • Technical abilities in production flows;
  • Seek and identify productivity improvement possibilities;
  • Advanced command of English;
  • Experience with ERPs - Navision can be an advantage;
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office - advanced use of Excel is an advantage: sum, if, match, choose, index, vlookup, pivot tables etc.) is an advantage
  • Ability to manage time and more tasks at the same time;
  • Assist team members in a friendly and professional manner;
  • Orientation and committement to internal client;
Knowledge :
  • Stock management
  • FIFO
  • 5S
  • Warehouse good practices
  • ERP, WMS, data base management
  • Inventory practices, procedures
Know-how:
  • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
  • Office suite easy management
  • Communication in small team to set up Warehouse rules
