As a procurement specialist, you will be responsible for contacting and engaging with new suppliers, negotiating prices and quantities, managing correspondence with third parties, and providing assistance with the documentation flow, including correspondence, invoices, and shipping documents.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Supplier Research: Conduct thorough research to identify potential suppliers.
• Supplier Outreach: Initiate contact with new suppliers through various channels such as emails, phone calls, or in-person meetings to establish business relationships.
• Negotiations: This includes negotiating prices, quantities and any other relevant contractual aspects.
• Placing orders: Generate orders and ensure the products are delivered on time;
• Quality Control of Incoming Goods: Ensure that the delivered items are the same as the ordered ones. This may involve verifying quantities and checking expiration dates.
• Document Management: Register and sort documents related to the acquisition process such as invoices, delivery receipts, and other relevant documentation.
