SOFTWARE TESTER

• Education: University degree. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology

• Solid Software Testing knowledge: SDLC, testing types and techniques.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Understanding of agile methodologies.
• Experience with issue tracking tools.
• Experience with testing tools like Selenium WebDriver, JMeter, Postman.
• Experience working with Visual Studio, version control systems (Git).
• Would be a plus: ISTQB Certification

• Gain a thorough understanding of the company’s products to ensure effective testing
• Master internal procedures to support the successful implementation of the projects
• Develop and execute detailed test cases for new and existing software products.
• Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA.
• Communicate and collaborate closely with testers, developers, product and project managers, to understand project requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
• Participate in all necessary meetings to contribute to the overall development process.
• Test deployed changed to ensure the correct implementation of the requirements and bug fixes.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and improve product stability.
• Conduct different types of testing like performance or API testing.
• Create automated tests with Selenium WebDriver and C# to improve testing efficiency.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve software quality and testing practices.
• Report on testing progress, results, and defect status when requested.
