Smart Metering Troubleshooting Engineer

What you will bring to the role:
o Technical expertise:

• Knowledge of distribution network systems and grid operations
• Knowledge of Standard PLC Protocol Communication (Meters & More, G3-PLC, PRIME, DLMS etc.)
• Knowledge of Technical standards and regulations applicable for smart meter devices

o Telecommunications Knowledge: Knowledge of TLC networks operation (3G, 4G, 5G, TCP/IP etc.)
o Automation & Programming Skills:

• Experience on automatization using programming skills.
• Knowledge and interest on hardware devices and protocols

o Data Management Acumen: Competence in managing big data beyond basic tools like Excel or Access, with an emphasis on advanced data analysis and handling
o Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven track record in resolving complex issues and contributing to medium to high-complexity projects
o Educational background: Master’s degree in engineering (preferably: Electric, Electronic or Telecommunication)
o Experience: A minimum of two years of job experience in Smart Metering and troubleshooting activities
o Language proficiency: English knowledge (at least B2)

Main responsibilities of the role:
o Provide local (Bucuresti, Ilfov and Giurgiu) and remote technical support to EVOLVE’s Clients (Smart ︁︀​︂︃︃​︁︂︁​︆︄Metering troubleshooting)
o Provide local and remote operation
o Provide first/second level and specialized support
o Lead and train the Clients personnel in technical activities (use of devices, remote systems, tools etc.)
o Support initial and critical phases of new projects/contracts (installation, commissioning, fine-tuning, KPIs achievement etc.)
