How can you contribute?

As a Site Manager, you have the full ownership of the entire construction site management with focus on HSE and Quality. You lead the site team consisting of HSE Supervisor, Quality Inspectors, Supervisors and Subcontractors.

During the bidding stage of a project the site manager is the main contributors to the cost estimation and planning process.

After EPC contract award, liaise and co-ordinate contract requirements with Project Manager, Customer, Engineering functions, Procurement, Logistic department and most important local authorities and Grid Operator within the area.

Electrical/ power engineering background from an accredited University in country is preferred. Civil/ structural/ mechanical background is acceptable
A Master Degree in Electrical engineering is a plus
Person must have a demonstrated a track record of successful construction management and exposure to HV substation projects.
Must have a minimum history of 5 years in facility construction management experience, HV projects being of interest.
ANRE authorization is a plus
Fluent in English
Computer literate

What will be yours day to day activities?

Inspect and record on-site progress and work with the construction team ︁︀​︂︃︃​︈︃​︁︇︄to ensure progress is accurately reported
Plan, organize, and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives
Develop strong relationships to ensure close collaboration and communication with customers and employees
Create a collaborative team environment
Ensure that all site records are kept up to date and in line with corporate and legislative requirements
Work closely with Project Manager to plan the work
Plan and implement strategies to manage the site on a timely manner
Contribute to pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures
Prepare Put in Function and Energization program of the facilities
Lead the contracting process for all site services . waste removal
Work closely with 3rd party experts as per Romanian legislation . “Diriginte de Santier”, “RTE”
Conduct safety audits and management walk around
Attend engineering packages review
Contribute to the construction contracting strategy
Participate in vendor bid review
Review/ validate physical progress reported by subcontractors and aggregate the inputs to obtain overall site progress report
Review/ validate corrective action plan and manage implementation
Coordinate the preparation of Work Method Statement
Lead the review / validate the Work Method Statement, Job safety Analysis, Lifting and rigging plan, for any critical activities
Contributes to the change management process, identifies changes, estimates the impact and communicates to the project manager
Negotiates change request issued by subcontractors and submit to the project manager
Coordinates drawings mark-up and provide inputs for as-built preparation
Together with Commissioning Manager coordinate the pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and Energizations activities
