We are looking for experienced welders and metal processing workers for shipyards.
Do you have experience as a welder or metal processing specialist, and would you like to participate in exciting projects in the shipbuilding industry? We are seeking versatile and independent professionals who can contribute to the production of high-quality ship hulls. Start date: January 20, 2024.
Job responsibilities:
- Metal plate processing and shaping.
- Welding and assembly of ship hull plate structures.
- Interpretation and understanding of technical drawings.
- Collaboration between different specialist groups to ensure quality and accuracy.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Extensive experience as a welder/metal processing specialist or other relevant work experience.
- Certification for wire welding 136 (preferably DNV, but other certifications are also accepted).
- Experience in shipyards and/or mechanical industry.
- Solid practical and theoretical knowledge of metalworking for ship hulls.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good English skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to read and work with technical drawings.
We offer:
- Competitive salary starting from 257 NOK/hour.
- 48-hour workweek with free accommodation provided.
- A 6-week contract with the possibility of extension.
