TERMS OF THE POSITION:
You will work from home and reside in your location but be a full-time contract ︁︀︂︃︃︇︅︀︁︀︂︃︃︇︃︁︃︂employee of eApps Hosting/CloudScale365.
Your working hours will match USA Eastern Time Zone day hours, approximately 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern time zone (4:30 PM – 01:00 AM Romanian time zone). Candidates must be able to work an 8 hour shift each day, Monday through Friday, during these working hours. Candidates that have flexibility in their work hours will be given preference for the position.
You will be paid in US Dollars.
DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION
As a Senior Network/Security Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of monitoring and maintaining our network and four strategically located data centers across the United States. You'll be responsible for overseeing large-scale installations of Linux and Windows-based servers, supporting our role as a managed service provider (MSP) to over 3,000 clients worldwide.

Required Skills:
- Configure and manage network devices from various vendors (Fortinet, Cisco, Dell)
- Design and implement L2/L3 network segments with redundancy concepts (VRRP, STP etc)
- Advance networking knowledge on BGP, OSPF, SDN, SD-WAN and routing
- Implement and manage network security policies
- Knowledge of implementing security solutions (IDS, IPS etc)
- Configure and troubleshoot IPSEC VPNs
- 3+ years of experience with Linux infrastructure
- Good knowledge of command line tools and scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl)
- Strong knowledge of virtualization: KVM, VMWare, Hyper-V (OpenNebula experience is a plus)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) networking, troubleshooting and deployment
- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities
