Senior Financial Analyst

The main purpose of this key role is to ensure accurate accounting and reporting throughout C&S Germany business and be ︁︀​︂︃︃​︈︃​︁︃︀a liaison between the functional departments and Finance Manager. The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Finance Manager and FP&A Manager in: Developing and implementing operational improvements using existing and new planning tools, establishing effective financial controls & procedures, acting as an advisor in all finance related matters. There will be an opportunity for ad hoc project work both individually and together with the other C&S Germany team members.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Responsible for monthly activities: preparing and posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations and coordinate with relevant responsible to ensure accurate back-up and documentation, order, sales and SGA reports preparation; supervising aging items.
* Preparing quarterly and yearly reports as per business requirements.
* Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of HFM reports (Flash, back log, contract assets, contract liabilities)
* Review of the monthly financial results to ensure overall data integrity and be able to explain significant fluctuations. Preparation of revenue and deferred revenue calculations, costs and deferred costs calculations, Headcount reporting, transfer pricing calculations, agent commissions, etc.
* Supervise and keep track of monthly recharges, prepare statistical reports as the need arises by HQ and local statutory authorities.
* Calculates and communicates to the counterparty Emerson entity the royalties owned for a group of products;
* Assists the FP&A Manager and Finance Manager in the POR cycle process;
* Supports the FP&A Manager and Finance Manager during the quarterly, mid-year and annual business unit reviews and budgeting process;
* Various other ad-hoc projects as needed.

For This Role, You Will Need:

* University or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics
* Four to five years of working experience in Finance or Accounting roles
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills are needed.
* Multinational organization experience, as well as US GAAP knowledge, is an asset.
* Proficient in English written & spoken

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
* Hyperion and Power BI experience is a plus.
* Able to work in a constantly evolving environment.
* Must be a good communicator, great teammate, comfortable working with upper management.
