Performing the accounting tasks for one or more specific region/s and/or a one/more functional accounting process such as: Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Month End Close activities, Reporting activities, Asset Accounting (capitalization, depreciation, amortization), Inventory Accounting, Intercompany, FX & Treasury Accounting, Payroll Accounting, Monthly tax calculation submission, audit support.
• Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the completeness and correctness of balance sheets accounts (banks, fixed assets, client accounts, supplier accounts, tax accounts, etc.)
• Closings and reconciliations for the managed accounts as per agreed deadlines
• Analyzing and following the accounting journals, requesting reclassifications and corrections to GL accountants
• Support GL accountants in requesting information from Client/ Genpact other streams (supporting documentation for JEs, additional information, escalations, etc)
• Provide support to Team Leader and Operations Manager when needed, as per request
• Preparing the VAT declarations and the accounting journals when required
• Preparing monthly performance reports
• Communicating in a timely manner any relevant information related to the process
• Respecting the activity schedule established with the customer
• Apply country specific knowledge of taxation (VAT and CIT) & accounting rules applicable from country-to-country if applicable
• Support the implementation of systems/applications applicable to in scope activities
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
• Very good knowledge of English, B2 / C1
• Similar work experience
• University graduate (Economic studies are required)
• Accounting knowledge needed and specific knowledge for the product delivered
• Work experience SAP system

• Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle client on one-on-one basis, via e-mails and calls
• Accurate, communicative with good communication skills
• Prioritization skills
• Change management and high adaptability skills.
• Proactiveness in handling standard and complex queries or situations
• Soft skills: active listening, proficient in business communication, ability to argument point of view
• Ability to function independently, identifying problems and opportunities for improvement combined with the ability to formulate and implement feasible solutions
