PURCHASING SPECIALIST

To our location Sibiu, we are looking for a motivated Purchasing Specialist to manage our company’s procurement activities with excellent communication and negotiation skills. The Purchasing Specialist must be an analytical thinker and demonstrate a good working knowledge of purchasing strategies. The role will have Direct material procurement responsibilities according to company policies.

Key Responsibilities:​​​

• Active in supplier search, selection, qualification and development, in accordance with company policies.
• Requests & evaluates quotes.

• Negotiates price, terms and conditions.
• Maintains documentation of procurement decisions.
• Manages quality complaints.
• Evaluates suppliers.
• Full responsibility for the direct materials commodities, in terms of strategy setting, stock monitoring, orders and all other related processes.
• Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records.

Key competencies and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics or engineering.
• 3 years of experience as a Purchasing Specialist or in a similar role.
• Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
• Foreign language proficiency – English is a must at advanced level.
• Proven experience with SAP ERP system, MM module.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with strong organizational skills.
