PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (production costs analyst)

• Completed degree in business administration, finance, controlling or a related field.
• Several years of experience in production controlling, preferably in an international company.
• Solid knowledge of cost accounting, margin and process analysis.
• Very good understanding of engineering and production processes.
• Very good Excel skills and ideally experience with ERP systems.
• Analytical thinking skills and a structured and solution-oriented way of working.
• High level of initiative and sense of responsibility, especially when representing the finance manager.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team to work effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to abroad occasionally to coordinate with the central finance team.
• Very good written and spoken English (German is an advantage).

• conducting regular margin analyses of production costs to assess ︁︀​︂︃︃​︉︆​︁︅︉profitability by product, product line and order.
• Identifying and monitoring cost drivers and developing measures to optimize manufacturing costs.
• Preparing and analyzing deviation reports that show how actual costs deviate from budget and plan values.
• Close monitoring of material costs, labor costs and overhead costs to ensure an effective and efficient cost structure.

• Detailed analysis and monitoring of production processes to identify efficiency potential and improvement potential in the production line.
• Conducting time studies, cost-benefit analyses and profitability calculations to increase production performance.
• Implementing and tracking KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to monitor operational performance and support the optimization of production processes.
• Active participation in process improvement projects, including the development and implementation of new methods and technologies in production.

• Supporting local management and the central finance team with annual budget planning and preparing monthly forecasts.
• Continuous monitoring and updating of financial plans and forecasts to ensure accurate reports and future planning.
• Participating in the definition of targets for production costs and monitoring and analyzing compliance with these targets.
• Reporting and documentation
• Preparing regular and ad hoc reports on production costs and margins for local management and the central finance director.
• Documentation and communication of the analysis results and the identified cost savings potential.
• Ensuring that the production cost analysis is compliant with local and central reporting standards and specifications.

• Close collaboration with the production, purchasing and logistics departments to optimize production processes and cost structures.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with the central finance team to ensure consistent and transparent cost reporting.
• Presentation of the analysis results and recommendations to the local management and the central Finance Director.
