Job Description Crossover wants a strong product owner to help us define and build the technology products that underpin our continued success. Product management here is a highly collaborative affair with Engineering especially, but also all the other departments including the CEO’s office. Being obsessed with the details is necessary and being calm in crises is required. This is a completely remote position. You must be able to collaborate with people over email, chat and video conference. Key Responsibilities: - Create, manage and evangelize product roadmaps that reflect Crossover’s vision - Create innovative user interactions and work with our visual designers to create great visual comps for use by engineering - Create and prioritize the product backlog - Work closely with our engineers to go from comps to working software - Manage a development process with an expected weekly (or faster) production release within a highly agile framework Compensation - Salary: 50 USD/hr - Position type: Full time (40 hours per week and up) - Location: Global - Remote - We encourage employees to work where they are most productive. Required Skills, Experience and Education - Ability to create wireframes and flows and to explain those in diagrams and text for engineering - Ability to understand technology discussions in the context of a service oriented architecture and a modern UI tech stack - Bachelor’s degree from a top tier University (degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, or - a related field are preferred) - Ability to code is NOT required, but a background in programming will be useful
