We are seeking a Product Development Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will serve a dual role, engaging in product planning and management as well as facilitating the scrum process. As a Product Development Project Manager, you will be responsible for creating, prioritizing, and validating user stories, while as a Product Development Project Manager, you will facilitate scrum ceremonies, work with the team to estimate effort and promote Agile best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

- Proficient in Agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, leadership skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile tools like JIRA or similar.

Key Responsibilities
- Product Backlog Management: Develop and maintain a well-organized backlog. Prioritize backlog items by effectively weighing their business value and feasibility. Understand and address dependencies to ensure a smooth development process. Ensure clear communication of product backlog priorities to the team.
- User Story Creation and Refinement: Create detailed and clear user stories that align with the product roadmap. Ensure each user story has a clearly defined acceptance criteria. Regularly liaise with the team to refine user stories, ensuring they are clear and ready for development. Validate user stories with stakeholders to ensure the desired outcomes are met.
- Product Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders within the team and from other departments to define the roadmap. Translate this roadmap into an actionable product backlog. Ensure the team understands the vision and goals of the product at any given time.
- Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Coordinate and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile events. Ensure all team members are engaged and understand the purpose and goals of each event.
- Estimation: Lead planning poker sessions to estimate effort for user stories. Ensure the team understands the scope and complexity of the work and can debate on estimates in a constructive manner. Foster a culture of collective intelligence where every team member contribution to the estimation process is valued.
- Remove Obstacles: Act as a problem solver for the team. Identify and eliminate obstacles that are inhibiting the team’s ability to meet sprint commitments. Provide support to the team through a servant leadership attitude and lead by example.
- Promote Agile Practices: Help the team in the adoption and practice of Agile. Ensure the team adheres to the values and principles of Agile, and continuously drives process improvements. Help the team to understand the need for clear and concise communication.
