Packaging Engineer (Craiova - on site)

* Graduate University – Food Industry, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Material Engineering
* 3+ years of experience in packaging design and development, similar role (engineering level),
* English - advanced level written and spoken,
* Production planning: production ( paper, plastic industry), development of packaging,
* Decisions making and analysis capacity,
* Communication and coordination skills,
* Innovative person, oriented towards results and performance and able to work in a team,
* Knowledge of materials (plastic, paper),
* Knowledge of design principles and software such as AutoCAD or whichever else.

* New product development – You will participate in all processes related to packaging analysis from theoretical design to product trials, as well as application side (designing the parameters, etc.),
* Quality project – improvement of the existing product quality – tests, trials, of potential new materials, in terms of size, transport tests, geometry , size),
* Cost reduction projects – dimensions, new materials used paper/ plastic,
* Develop and implement packaging solutions that meet the needs of the company, regulatory bodies and customers,
* Identify, evaluate and select ideal packaging materials, machinery and equipment,
* Work on reducing packaging-related costs and improving the efficiency of the product packaging process,
* Monitor industry trends and innovations to stay updated with best practices and technologies for packaging.
* Design packaging solutions that protect and preserve products during transportation, storage and handling.
* Conducting feasibility studies to determine the suitability of packaging solutions for specific products.
* Analyzing data and researching to improve the packaging process and implementing relevant solutions.
* Developing and executing standard operating procedures and guidelines for product packaging in the company.
* Ensure consistency and quality of packaging across the organization.
