Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Manage the planning, monitoring, and support of nautical crews; conduct regular vessel visits across the Rhine, Holland, and France regions.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all inland shipping regulations, environmental standards, and company protocols, including ship documentation and safety equipment checks.
- Crisis Management: Serve as a 24/7 contact for emergency coordination and incident management, including reporting and follow-up.
- Crew Recruitment & Training: Recruit and onboard skilled nautical staff; provide training and development to ensure high performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively optimize operations, including schedule feasibility, deck accessibility, and navigational systems.
