Marine maintenance engineer / Chief engineer

The Senior Marine Maintenance Engineer / Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of vessel/ship engines and related mechanical systems. The role involves managing the engine room crew, ensuring the safety and efficiency of all engine operations, and complying with maritime regulations and company standards.Experience: 8-12 years of experience in marine engineering, with a focus on vessel/ship engines.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in ︁︀​︂︃︃​︉︉​︁︂︈Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

Strong knowledge of marine engine systems, including diesel engines, propulsion, and auxiliary systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery under time-sensitive conditions.
Excellent leadership and crew management skills.
Familiarity with maritime regulations, ISM Code, and environmental regulations (MARPOL, IMO).
Proficiency in using marine maintenance software and reporting tools.
