Logistic & Supply Chain Specialist

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field;
• Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in logistics and supply chain;
• Demonstrated experience in managing transportation, warehousing, and inventory control;
• Proficiency in supply chain management software;
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting;
• Familiarity with transportation management systems and warehouse management systems;
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively;
• Knowledge of global supply chain dynamics and international trade regulations is a plus;
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Outlook, etc);
• Advanced knowledge and use of at least one foreign language of international circulation: English (German is an advantage);
• A well-organised, self-motivated person with good analytical and strategic thinking skills, ability to deal with stressful situation;
• Responsible, communicative, organized, pro-active, dynamic person, oriented towards the achievement of objectives correctly, completely and on the established terms.

Job description

The Logistic & Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the entire supply chain process, ︁︀​︂︃︃​︇︅​︀from procurement of raw materials to distribution of finished products. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory, overseeing transportation, and ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of goods. The specialist will work closely with other departments to support overall business objectives and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Supply Chain Planning:
Plan, coordinate, and monitor the transportation of goods.
Manage warehousing operations, including storage and distribution.
Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to avoid stockouts and overstock situations.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Generate and present reports on key performance indicators such as delivery times, costs, and inventory levels.
Use data-driven insights to drive decision-making and optimize supply chain operations.
