Junior Energy Trader

Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience of the electricity market, operating mechanisms, and specific legislation
Knowledge of principles, methods, and practices related to energy production process
Good knowledge of the Energy Law no. 123/2012 and other related documents (ANRE Orders, Transelectrica and OPCOM procedures)
Bachelor Degree in Engineering
Able to exercise great initiative and independent judgment
Detail-oriented person
Language skills: English – advanced
Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, ability to work effectively with diverse people
Very good verbal and written communication skills
Good analytical skills, resistant at stress
PC literate
Pro-active attitude, optimism
Driving license: B (nice to have)
Travel availability

Responsibilities:
Manage the company energy production on markets administered by OPCOM;

Manage the end-to-end process of the energy supply ︁︀​︂︃︃​︇︉​︆︄company activity under the conditions of the regulations in force, but not limited to:
contractual relationship with the distribution operators
contractual relationship with the electricity transmission services CNTEE Transelectrica S.A;Prepare internal and/or external reports, analytics and status updates on the electricity markets;
Prepare and transmit the reports to the OPCOM, Transelectrica, Distribution Operators, ANRE related to the energy production and energy supply activity;

Monitor actual vs. forecast energy consumption and production;

Support during the development, construction, and operation of renewable projects;

Collaborate with other departments to obtain all the permits and licenses necessary to bring the projects to a “ready to build” and “Commercial Operation” status.

Type of contract: indefinite period (3-month probationary period)
