Teleperformance are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HR Domain Architect to support the successful implementation of Workday HCM. This role will focus on gathering comprehensive business and technical requirements for HR system integrations, overseeing data migration efforts, and orchestrating the cutover plan from a technical perspective for our remaining countries.

The ideal candidate will serve as the technical expert and liaison between HR, IT and external vendors, translating business needs into technical solutions and have experience working with HRIS systems, specifically Workday, and will play a critical role in ensuring smooth integration, data synchronization, and system transition during the implementation phase of Phase 2 of our global deployment.

Competencies and Professional Background
  • Educational Background - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Work Experience - Experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst in a HRIS system implementation, preferably with Workday.
  • Special Certifications - Workday Certified Integration or Workday HCM certifications.

Required Skills:
  • Strong understanding of global HR process implementation (e.g, payroll, recruiting, benefits administration).
  • Proven experience in system architecture and design, including experience integrating multiple HR systems and third-party applications
  • Proven experience in gathering and documenting both business and technical requirements (BRD & TRD).
  • Experience with data migration, integration, and ETL processes in the context of large-scale system implementations.
  • Knowledge of Workday modules and integration points is highly desirable.
  • Ability to develop and manage cutover plans, ensuring smooth transition from project phases to live production systems.
  • Strong understanding of system integration protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP, XML, Web Services) and data formats (e.g., CSV, JSON, XML).
  • Experience with project management methodologies
  • Experience with Workday integration tools, such as Workday Studio, is a plus;

Responsabilities:

Business and Technical Requirements Gathering:
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders within country to understand business processes, objectives, and technical needs for HR system integrations.
  • Lead the effort to gather and document business requirements (BRD) and technical requirements (TRD) for Workday implementation, including integration with other systems, data migration, and custom configurations.
  • Align business requirements with Workday system architecture
  • Conduct workshops and meetings with subject matter experts (SMEs) to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with business goals and technical capabilities.
  • Analyse “As Is” existing HR processes and systems, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization through Workday integration “To Be” process.
HR System Integrations:
  • Develop a clear understanding of the data flow and integration points between Workday and other enterprise systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, 3rd party applications).
  • Define integration requirements for Workday with third-party applications, including data formats, security protocols, and data validation rules.
  • Support the development of integration mapping and data transformations in collaboration with the technical team.
  • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across systems and identify and resolve integration-related issues.
Data Migration & Catch-up:
  • Assist in the creation of data migration strategies, including data mapping, cleansing, and validation to ensure smooth transition from legacy systems to Workday.
  • Define the scope of data migration for the Workday project and ensure data catch-up efforts (for historical data) are properly planned and executed.
  • Collaborate with data teams to ensure that data is properly extracted, transformed, and loaded (ETL) into the Workday system.
Cutover Planning & Technical Execution:
  • Develop and oversee the technical cutover plan, ensuring all components of the Workday implementation are successfully transitioned from development and testing environments to production.
  • Work with technical teams to define system downtime windows, deployment schedules, and necessary contingency planning.
  • Orchestrate the technical execution of cutover activities, including monitoring system health, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring data integrity during the cutover.
  • Ensure that all technical tasks are completed on time and within scope, with appropriate testing and validation.
Collaboration & Communication of Architecture decisions:
  • Serve as the liaison between technical teams (developers, architects) and business stakeholders (HR, IT, project managers) to ensure alignment on all integration, data, and cutover activities.
  • Document and communicate progress, issues, risks, and dependencies to key stakeholders.
  • Support training and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities, ensuring that technical aspects of Workday meet business requirements.
Continuous Improvement & Post-Implementation Support:
  • Post-go-live, support the HR and IT teams in troubleshooting and resolving any integration or data issues that arise.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements, process automation, and long-term optimization based on post-implementation feedback.
