Health and Safety Coordinator

• Bachelor degree in engineering field – mandatory;
• Advance level of English;
• 3-5 years experience in H&S, preferably in industry environment;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
• Previous experience in obtaining ISO 14001 certification;
• H&S course of 80 hours; Risk assessment course of 180 hours; waste management course; PSI technical framework course;
• Hands on, proactive attitude and results oriented.

• Elaboration of instructions, procedures and SSM & SU documentation and communicate them to the employees;
• Carrying out SSM and SU training (introductory & periodical);
• Update risk assessment and hazards identification for work stations;
• Monthly KPI monitoring (accidents and incidents follow-up);
• Closely following the action plan implementation and work closely with all stakeholders in order to improve H&S awareness in the company;
• Define personal protective equipment according to job specification;
• Scheduling the examinations of occupational health, checking the correctness of the files and keep track of the labor medicine recommendation given to the employees;
• Organizes and conducts CSSM meetings according to the legislation;
• Preparation and administration of the relevant documentation related to emergency situations and fire management;
• Checking the functioning status of the alarm systems, warning, emergency signaling, as well as the safety systems;
• Work closely with external waste management supplier: offer support in the preparation and submission of periodic reports on waste, packaging, emissions and oil management; organizes noise measurements according to legislative requirements; preparation of the necessary documentation for obtaining authorizations and approvals in the field of environment, labor protection and emergency situations, when the case
• Supervises waste collection in the company and works closely with waste collection suppliers;
• Develop action plans for environmental protection including specific measures to reduce and prevent the negative impact on the environment;
• Follows legislative changes in the field of H&S and environment and makes sure the company is fully compliant with the legal requirements;
• Ensuring communication with all relevant authorities regarding the authorizations, necessary agreements for all H&S activities and services according to the Romanian Legislation;
• Prepare and support internal and external audits.
