Head of Legal

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Legal to lead our legal department and oversee all legal matters pertaining to our organization. The ideal candidate will provide strategic legal guidance, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and safeguard the company’s interests. This role requires a seasoned legal professional with a comprehensive understanding of corporate law, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex legal landscapes.

• Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to align legal strategies with business objectives, analyzing potential legal issues and risks ︁︀​︂︃︃​︁︂︇​︁︂︈and developing mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of contracts related to partnerships, game providers, payment service providers (PSPs), and other commercial agreements, ensuring they are legally binding and protective of the organization’s interests.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance principles, advising on board governance, regulatory compliance, internal policies, and shareholder relations.
• Identify and manage legal risks associated with the organization’s operations, working closely with other departments to develop risk management strategies and implement mitigation measures.
• Oversee and manage litigation involving the organization, collaborating with external counsel, providing strategic direction, reviewing legal documentation, and evaluating settlement options.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, staying updated with legal changes and implementing necessary compliance programs and policies.
• Lead and manage the legal department, assigning tasks, providing guidance and support, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Provide legal support and advice on mergers, acquisitions, and other significant business transactions, ensuring all legal aspects are thoroughly addressed and aligned with strategic goals.
• Handle matters related to corporate governance, including the drafting and review of company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Advise on intellectual property protection strategies to safeguard the organization’s innovations and proprietary information.
• Ensuring compliance with data protection legislation by developing and implementing policies and procedures to safeguard the personal data of clients and employees.
• Managing all interactions with state institutions and relevant regulatory authorities, ensuring adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements, and maintaining the organization's compliance in all areas of operation.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
Law Bachelor Degree from an accredited law school.
Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

In-depth knowledge of corporate law, commercial contracts, litigation, and regulatory compliance.
