Global Change Notification Specialist

- Master’s degree in chemistry or life sciences
- Industry experience highly valued
- Strong knowledge of laboratory environments and lab products (chemicals, lab consumables, life science products, or single-use solutions)
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills; additional language skills (Spanish, French, German) are a plus
- Passion for process improvement and problem-solving
- Self-starter, goal-oriented, with a strong customer focus
- Ability to manage stress and prioritize workload effectively
- Proficient in Office 365
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment

Avantor's Change Notification is a critical Added Value Service for customers in regulated environments, such as the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical ︁︀​︂︃︃​︇︃​︁︃︂industries. It ensures timely notification of changes to critical products, a mandatory requirement for customers manufacturing products for controlled markets like vaccines, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. As our customer and product portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking a Global Change Notification Specialist.
Preferred Locations: Portugal, Spain, Italy, Romania

Responsibilities:
- Independently handle Change Notification requests, ensuring timely communication of product changes to customers and managing customer interactions
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and Avantor associates in a global, diverse environment
- Negotiate supplier agreements related to Change Notifications
- Review and approve information from suppliers, customers, and internal colleagues
- Develop, maintain, and manage tools used in the Change Notification process, including software improvements
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and Single Point of Contact for designated Major Accounts
- Ensure business continuity by proactively sharing information with team members, including account updates and significant changes in portfolios and suppliers
