Candidatul Ideal
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Possess a working knowledge of accounting concepts as well as an intermediate level understanding of property damage claims, business interruption claims, extra expense claims, and other insurance and litigation engagements.
Demonstrate an intermediate level understanding of insurance policy terms and concepts.
Review detailed documentation received and prepare an analysis and schedule for supervisor review.
Comprehensively supervise smaller files and certain portions of large losses.
Demonstrate ability to calculate co-insurance, monthly limits, and other advanced coverage issues.
Exhibit an understanding of the roles of other industry professionals (public adjusters, brokers, salvers, etc.)
Prepare and review formal reports.
Identify potential problem areas or issues during the claims evaluation process and communicate those issues to supervisors.

Accounting/Business (or related) degree preferred.
2 to 3 years accounting experience
Basic knowledge and ︃︁︄︅︄︇︁︉︃understanding of the insurance industry.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
