• Sufficient knowledge of mandatory STCW certifications, local Seafarer’s
  Employment T&C, MLC 2006, CBA and Flag States’ requirements

• To apply in force policies & procedures.
• To review seafarers’ application forms and interview prospective candidates.
• To ︃​︁︄︀​︁︉︇​︁︄︀check the medical status of all seafarers and arranging medical appointments.
• To update seafarers’ personnel files
• To ensure that seafarers have all of the required ‘valid’ documents for their intended contract.
• To apply for Flag Endorsements, visas.
• To assist principals with Owners vessel planning requirements.
• To debrief seafarers on completion of their contracts and provide feedback to principals
• To do local briefings of seafarers prior to embarkation
• To prepare Seafarers Contracts (SEA’s)
• To coordinate for any specific seafarer training.
• To handle seafarers’ travel arrangements.
