Financial Controller (Metro Convenience)

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business decision-making;
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies;
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective cost control measures to enhance profitability;
• Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company’s financial security;

• Prior similar experience and a bachelor’s degree;
• In-depth understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards;
• Expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports;
• Proficiency in developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial models;
• Familiarity with the food retail industry, including market trends and financial challenges;
• Strong ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey financial information to stakeholders;
• Strong problem-solving skills to address financial issues and implement effective solutions;
• Proficiency in financial software and tools such as ERP systems, Excel and financial modeling software.
