As a Financial Audit Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and prepare together with the audit partner various audit engagements on medium and large companies acting in various commercial sectors both Romanian and international
To qualify for this role, you need:
University degree in Economics (Accounting, Finance and Banks represents a plus), Polytechnic, Mathematics or other related fields;
Qualifications (ACCA, CAFR, ASPAS, CIA, or others, achieved or in progress);
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in audit;
Knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards and basic knowledge of IFRS;
Understanding of risk-based auditing and risk and control strategies;
Good skills on Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word);
Verbal, written, and presentation skills, both in Romanian and English;
Team working skills, with experience in supervising and developing junior staff;

Your role:
Working as part of a team, liaising with both clients and other specialists in the practice to provide ︁︀︂︃︃︈︁︁︉︂high-quality; audits;
Providing coordination role for audit clients including the coaching and training of junior staff;
Supervising teams and reporting directly partners and directors;
Performing/supervising the audit procedures in accordance with Grant Thornton’s audit methodology and quality standards;
Involvement in preparing reports and schedules;
Ability to produce quality work under pressure while meeting deadlines;
Contribute to business development and maintain good professional relations with clients.
