Finance Director

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is required Desirable
• Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field preferred
• CPA or CMA license

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a significant portion spent in manufacturing or supply chain finance or related fields
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in management or leadership
• Experience with Oracle financial system software
• Experience working with senior executives, providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to drive business decisions
• Proven track record in financial analysis, gross margin forecasting, and cost accounting within a manufacturing environment
• Proven leadership and team management skills, including the ability to mentor and develop team members, foster a collaborative work environment, and drive results

• Direct activities of the Manufacturing Operations finance function for Automation Europe, including accounting for all aspects ︁︀​︂︃︃​︈︁​︁︉︂of COGS in a multi manufacturing and distribution facility environment
• Owns the COGS forecast for the annual operating plan, quarterly reforecasts, two-year profit review and five-year strategic plan
• Working in partnership with Europe Finance Director on the monthly accounting close function pertaining to COGS for the France, UK, and Romania plants
• Business partnership with the Operations team to make investment prioritization decisions with facilities, headcount, and supply chain opportunities
• Develop insightful analytics that impact strategies to introduce new products, expand the global supply chain and manage capacity across our multiple manufacturing facilities and global distribution footprint
• Partners with the IT and PMO function to drive optimizations and enhancements of the ERP and MRP systems
• Review global inventory reserves and identify opportunities to mitigate exposure and improve inventory management techniques
• Develops manufacturing operations finance talent within the team and builds out the team to support the growing complexity due to internationalization and growing complexity of the business
• Team ownership over the annual cost roll and impact across multipole facilities
• Management of global transfer pricing in the ERP system in collaboration with the tax team
• Partnership with the reporting and GL teams to ensure intercompany transactions are properly eliminated across all subsidiaries
• Effective monitoring and evaluation of physical inventory and cycle count programs
• Responsible for internal control framework (SOX) of inventories, product costing, value adjustments, cycle counting, scrap, as well as ensuring accounting policies are followed
• Develops and executes strategy that ensures continuous improvement of finance processes and systems
• Other duties as assigned
