The role of a Field Service Engineer for crushing and screening equipment encompasses a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction. Key duties include:
Service Activities
Service Activities
- Equipment Assembly and Commissioning: Assemble and commission delivered equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Repairs and Maintenance: Supervise and perform repairs on machinery or sub-assemblies at customer locations, ensuring timely and effective service.
- Inspections and Client Prospecting: Conduct routine and warranty inspections to maintain equipment standards and identify potential new clients.
- Customer Training: Provide training to customer personnel on the proper use and maintenance of Sandvik equipment to enhance operational efficiency.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of equipment and service activities in the database for tracking and analysis.
- Technical Support and Coordination: Collaborate with the sales department to offer technical support, ensuring seamless communication and customer satisfaction. Work closely with Sandvik customers to provide technical consultations; address and resolve customer complaints. Prepare spare parts requests in collaboration with Inside Sales and Sales Engineers.
- Contractual Support: Assist in finalizing contractual clauses related to equipment commissioning, ensuring all technical aspects are accurately represented.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety standards, including working at heights when necessary, to maintain a safe working environment.
