Electrical Design Engineer

Required knowledge and experience:

Bachelor degree or Master of Science diploma in Electrical Engineering (License ANRE IIA
or IIIA will be a plus);
Relevant experience in civil/industrial buildings and equipment design;
Knowledge of most of the concepts, practices and procedures within civil/industrial
constructions field;
Very good knowledge in civil/industrial buildings and equipment design;
Good knowledge of using electrical calculation software: Ecodial, Simaris or similar;
Good knowledge of using Dialux for lighting calculation;
Good Revit and AutoCAD skills;
Abilities in using Microsoft Office package;
Experience in Romanian and International standards and norms

Duties and responsibilities

To prepare electrical calculations ( for distribution boards, junction boxes, lighting system,
cables, grounding and lightning ︁︀​︂︃︃​︇︃​︁︃︂installation) and detailed calculation notes;
To use computer-aided design (CAD) software for 2D drafting and 3D modelling;
Elaboration of diagrams for constructions: key single line diagram, single line diagram,
control circuit diagrams, connection and wiring diagram;
Elaboration of layouts for constructions: power, lighting, cable trays, grounding and lightning,
sections and other);
Elaboration of data sheets and equipment specification;
To elaborate details for execution and technical design reports and specifications for
construction works
Preparation of bill of quantities
Technical support during construction works
Attendance to internal project review meetings
To liaise with architects and other designers, to agree on safe designs and their fit with the
concept of the construction;
To attend in meetings with clients together with PM
To report progress on project activities to PM
Estimate duration, propose and agree deadlines with PM for allocated design activities
To perform department internal quality checks for documents prepared by other engineers or
subcontractors
